The global print giant will now be able to offer customers the opportunity to print on FSC-certified papers for items printed in any of its US magazine, catalogue, retail insert, directory and book factories.
RR Donnelley group president for publishing and retail services John Paloian said the certification was a reflection of the firm's long-standing commitment to sound environmental practices.
He added that the company, the world's largest printer, was especially pleased to have certified its factory at Reynosa in Mexico, which he said "plays such an important part in our global book production".
