Mark Roach of BDO Stoy Hayward was appointed as "trustee in bankruptcy" for the partners John and Jennifer Gurney and Nicola White on 3 October.
The company had closed on 12 September, with around 50 staff being let go. A note was left outside the front gate.
Because it is a partnership rather than a company there is no difference between the owners' personal and corporate assets.
Roach told PrintWeek: "My role is to realise any assets for the creditors. I will be working to ascertain what the position is."
He also said that property consultant King Sturge has been appointed to realise the company's assets. BDO is not looking to sell the business.
Rowe bosses declared bankrupt
The former owners of failed Cornwall print business Rowe the Printers have declared themselves bankrupt following the company's closure last month.
