Restart expects surge from Watkiss system

Trade printer Restart Print has boosted its productivity with the purchase of a new collating and bookletmaking system from Watkiss.

The Tamworth-based company is predicting that its profitability will increase at ‘unprecedented levels’ following the purchase.

Restart Print’s new system includes an eight-bin Watkiss DigiVAC vertical collator linked online to BookMaster, TrimMaster and SpineMaster bookletmaking modules.

Deane Merrick, Restart’s owner, said: “It is amazing that such a compact system can have such a huge effect on output. Before we installed the Watkiss machine, we had four separate processes in place to produce booklets and magazines for our customers.”
