Thetford-based Reflex Litho has installed a CreoScitex CTP and proofing system as part of an on-going investment programme.
The spend includes a Trendsetter Spectrum 3244 platesetter and halftone proofer and a Dolev 800 imagesetter, both driven by a Brisque workflow.
Reflex Litho pre-press manager Andy Wyles said: "Before the investment we were buying in film and hand planning. It's completely different now that we have a total system. It complements the other departments in the firm - we can go right through from disc to mailing."
The CTP system matches the output required for
the company's bank of three B1 Komori Lithrones - a two-, a four- and a five-colour.
Wyles said the system would eliminate image degradation, as the same data used to create proofs would be used for the plates.
"In my opinion Trendsetter proofs are the most accurate available on the market today, as they so closely simulate the final plate," said Wyles.
Reflex Litho also has a sales office in London and employs around 30 staff across its two sites.
