Rapida Graphics winds up operations

Rapida Graphics has ceased trading and will go into liquidation at the end of this month.

All 10 staff at the south-east London firm have been made redundant and a liquidator will be appointed on 21 December. A meeting of creditors will also take place on that day along with details of debts and why Rapida ceased trading.

The company's affairs are currently being handled by B&C Associates. The firm has been nominated as liquidators by the directors and will be voted for the role by the shareholders. It is then up to the creditors to approve the appointment.

Icon Reproduction has taken on some of Rapida's contract as a Mirror newspaper advertising gateway. It has also bought Rapida's Asura workflow system and hired six former Rapida members of staff.

Rapida business devel-opment director Oliver Schneider is also attempting to set up a firm to take on some former clients.
