Fellner Medien signed a 17m (25m) deal with MAN Roland at IfraExpo last week for a double-width four-tower Geoman press that will be able to produce both heatset and coldset in the same tower.
No name has yet been revealed for the magazine, which will be a tabloid of the Rheinsicher format and will be aimed at young and well-educated readers.
The magazine's first edition is planned for autumn 2006, and promises to be the first major launch for around 20 years into the conservative Austrian newspaper market.
