PrintWeek India to host Tech Forum in New Delhi

PrintWeek India's Tech Forum partnered by Canon India will be held in Delhi, at the India Habitat Centre on 7 June, 2011. This is part of PrintWeek India's outreach for the PrintWeek India Awards 2011.

The half-day forum will be attended by CEOs from the top print firms in the Delhi NCR region.

Priya Iyer, group ad sales manager for Haymarket Media India said: "This is our first conference in Delhi. We hope to throw light innovation, entrepreneurship, and more importantly, how print firms make the most of the changes, rather than be overwhelmed by them."

From tangible ideas and print industry trends in India to discussing the digital habits in India and all over the world, the tech forum will have opening remarks by Ramu Ramanathan, editor of PrintWeek India and a digital presentation by Alok Bharadwaj, Vice President, Canon India.

After which there will be a felicitation of PrintWeek India Award winners: Vasant Goel of Gopsons Papers and Rishabh Singhvi of International Print o Pac. After which there will be a panel discussion with Singhvi, Goel and M N Pandey of Avantika Printers in which they will touch upon their achievements, future projects and new approaches to how print has to adopt in order to address the challenges of the market place.

The panel will explore how printers and other stakeholders in the supply chain are making the business case for best practices in the use of print and digital media. This will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.

Iyer said: "This is an exclusive closed-door session for select members of the Delhi print industry. Our aim is to empower the Indian print industry and create a print owner’s forum which can draw upon each other’s strengths and weaknesses."

In the past few months, PrintWeek India has partnered with the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh for "At Your Doorstep; and the Bombay Master Printer's Association for the "Share To Benefit Forum".

The deadline for sending entries for the third edition of PrintWeek India Awards is 25 June 2011.
