PrintWeek India Awards' receive a huge boost with 100 print firms sending in entries

The PrintWeek India 2011 Awards event has generated overwhelming response with over 100 print firms sending in their entries.

"We are expecting more entries to come in, particularly from outstation printers whose courier packets may have been delayed in transit. We do not want anyone to miss out on the opportunity this year," said Melissa Casyab, events manager at the PrintWeek India office.

The PrintWeek India Awards edition hosted last year attracted entries from 91 printers. This edition of PWI Awards has expectedly surpassed the previous year’s mark. "This clearly demonstrates increased commitment by the printers to prove their excellence. Now there is no doubt that the PrintWeek Awards is the only event that truly reflects the dynamic face of the Indian print industry," said Priya Iyer, group ad manager.

There are 24 PWI Awards categories and whether it’s in the performance categories, where business excellence is the name of the game, or the quality awards, where the calibre of the work produced is the focus, the marketing value of winning or being shortlisted for a PrintWeek India Award can't be underestimated.

The reason is simple: the judges. Each year, PrintWeek India invites 25 leading print buyers, your customers, to scrutinise the hundreds of entries it receives. This year, after the jury completes its jury duty, PrintWeek India will make a special attempt to invite agency heads, brand managers and designers to view the print gallery.
