Printless offers publishers PDF titles online

A Hertfordshire firm is aiming to increase online PDF-based circulation with its new venture Printless Publishing.

Abbey Publishing has launched the system, which allows magazine, catalogue and book publishers to submit PDFs for their publications, which are then converted and distributed online for 750 for a 64pp magazine.

Abbey managing director, Ralph Scrivens said the venture would not "replace the printed word" but allow publishers to produce a "complementary" version that can include embedded links.
