$5m of business closed

Printing United 'will continue to raise the bar'

Printing United Expo: busy show floor

Printing United Expo has “set a new benchmark for the printing industry” according to show organisers who have declared the show a resounding success.

The expo took place last month in Atlanta, Georgia.

Show owner and organiser Printing United Alliance said that there had been more than 28,000 registrants this year, including visitors and exhibitors with some visitors travelling from the UK to attend.

Preliminary figures from exhibitors indicate sales of more than $5m (£4.13m) were booked during the expo, with a number of manufacturers selling all the kit on their booths.

The show took place over two halls and 92,900sqm of space at the Georgia World Congress Center. It attracted 811 exhibitors and a number of high-profile product launches.

Show president Mark Subers thanked exhibitors and visitors for their investment and engagement.

He stated: “Printing United Expo has set a new benchmark for the printing industry.

“With over 28,000 registrants this year, the continued feedback we are receiving directly and across social media platforms confirms that we are delivering what attendees and exhibitors have asked for. Expo news and exhibitor feedback has flooded social channels with sentiments such as ‘record-setting’, ‘refreshed’, ‘reenergized’, ‘revitalized’, ‘enthusiastic’, ‘optimistic’, and more.

“We will continue to raise the bar with each passing year and look forward to seeing everyone in Las Vegas in 2024!”

The exhibition has become the 32nd largest show in the US, according to Trade Show Executive rankings, and aims to be the go-to event for printing industry professionals in the Americas.

The event alternates between east and west coast venues. Next year’s show will take place in Las Vegas from 10-12 September.
