Prince Charles visits St Bride Printing Library

Prince Charles operated an 1844 Albion hand press when he paid a visit to the St Bride Printing Library in London this week (11 March).

The Prince used the press to produce a copy of an extract of a poem by Alexander Pope called The Dunciad.

He visited the library and its workshop following a service at St Brides church, where he gave an address.

The service was held to celebrate the 300th anniversary of daily newspaper production in the UK.
