Positive Focus said that Digital Media Partners' (DMP) FLO Suite was "a complete solution" allowing comprehensive web-based customisation of all types of printed material.

Version 4 of the software uses InDesign CS4 as its core composition engine and incorporates Callas PDFToolbox for preflighting as well as Elpical Claro for image manipulation and picture enhancement.

Positive Focus has also announced a free year's maintenance with every edition of DMP FLO Web2Print 2.0 purchased before the end of August.

The distributor said that this would give a 15% saving, making the software package £8,920 + VAT, with unlimited output and no click charges.

Managing director Ivor Dixon said: "With more and more printers looking for ways to reduce the cost of generating orders and handling them through their workflow, a web2print storefront on top of digital print reduces both time to market and operating costs."

Positive Focus described DMP FLO Web2Print as "a low-cost, self hosted, PDF-based storefront using DMP's core technologies but without the requirement for InDesign Server".
