Polestar has won an extension to its contract to print the Saturday and Sunday magazine supplements for Express Newspapers.
The magazines will be printed web offset at Polestar Petty until 2006. Production moved to Petty in 1999 from gravure at Purnell.
Polestar Petty has also won the contract to print IPCs new weekly womans title, Your Life. Repro is by Polestar Imaging.
But Purnell has lost out after IPC decided to merge Womans Realm into Womans Weekly, both of which are printed at Purnell.
A spokeswoman for IPC said there would be no increase in the pagination of Womans Weekly.
Polestar is also creating a one-stop shop for the direct mail market by merging Jowetts Direct and Select Print under the control of former Broadprint managing director Bill Cockcroft.
The firms will operate under the Polestar Connect name, but will continue to trade from their existing sites in Leeds.
