The 200m2 area on the show floor is being promoted to digital print and pre-press vendors. It will be supported by a packaging theatre and a brand owners lounge.
Brand owners are a massive target for digital packaging and theyre on our hit list its a good synergy, said group exhibition director Trevor Crawford. Theres a serious level of interest from potential exhibitors.
The show has attracted 1,000 pre-registered visitors so far, including print buyers and marketers from large companies like Abbey National, Argos and Nestl.
Were obviously hitting the right audience, said Crawford. Its most encouraging coming over three weeks in August when we havent actually started our visitor marketing campaign.
Despite the early interest Crawford is sticking to his projected visitor figure of 3,500-4,000.
Exhibitors have also exceeded expectations with more than 45 confirmed, and 300m2 of space left to sell with 12 weeks to go until the show opens.
Its exceeding our expectations at this point, said event manager Louisa Theobald.
Konica, which will show its new 8050 50ppm colour machine, Apex Digital Graphics and Global Graphics have recently signed up for the event.
Digital Print World takes place at London Olympia from 25-27 November.
