Overmatter: PassIT! on

The final phase of the year-long fundraising campaign for PrintIT! is underway and it involves a 565km run – the equivalent of running to, gulp, Drupa.

The PassIT! Initiative was launched at last year’s Duplo London Calling event held in October, and involved Duplo’s event partners each undertaking a month-long charitable challenge in aid of the PrintIT! initiative, which aims to encourage young people to enter the printing and related industries. 

Vivid Laminating marketing communications manager David Smith is pictured passing the PassIT! baton to Duplo marketing manager Sarah Crumpler. Crumpler, along with managing director Peter Jolly, sales manager Craig Harry, sales specialist Matt Brown and marketing specialist Ben Caufield will run an impressive 113km apiece. 

After all that effort they’re going to need some carbs, and we’re happy to report that activities for non-runners are also planned, specifically The Great Duplo Bake Off. We can say with some certainty that no one on the five-strong running could be accused of having a soggy bottom. 

So far the PassIT! campaign has raised £4,000.
