The Print & Go feature, launched at Photokina in Germany last month, adds an "alternative media exit" known as "roll-to-sheet", which increases productivity by reducing the bottleneck between print and finishing.
Oc is targeting Print & Go at print shops with heavy volumes of one-off jobs, claiming they will achieve both cost and time savings.
Arizona 500 owners can continue to use the printers internal take-up roll or feed the print through a specially designed slot in the front panel onto the external Print & Go reel.
The Arizona 500 prints up to 600dpi using ColorBlend six-colour printing technology and prints at 46.5m2 an hour in two-pass mode.
The full package, including the Arizona 500, RIP and Print & Go, is available now and costs 129,000.
Oc has also launched an infrared dryer for the Arizona 500.
