Nuflow is available in Lite and PRO versions with the latter including a Harlequin RIP as well as Dynagram INPO-2 imposition software for PDF-based imposition.
It offers a web-based workflow that includes a collaborative GUI workflow manager and integrates with other PDF software products such as Enfocus Pitstop server. It produces rendered page data, imposition information and outputs data for proofing and CTP devices.
The software audits every action and stores the information within a database from which it can export detailed reports for invoicing.
It can also be hooked up to soft-proofing packages - and one is included as an option - so clients can submit, request changes and approve work, delivering files via a built-in FTP server and notifying people of changes via an automated email system.
Nustream's Colin Taylor said that the software boosts the applications for existing Harlequin users. "Lots of SMEs aren't going to spend £20,000 to £30,000 on an Apogee system, so they'd never have the chance to offer soft-proofing apart from emailing PDFs.
"So we think there's a very big market in the B3 and B2 sector. And there are so many Harlequin users out there."
He added that the company will look to add support for the Adobe PDF Print Engine "at some stage".
The Lite version costs around £4,000 depending on options, while the PRO version costs £7,000, and there is an annual maintenance fee of 15% of that cost.
Taylor said the company was talking to a UK customer with a view to getting its first UK install, and will be exhibiting the product at Ipex Asia, as the Harlequin installed base in India is strong, as well as at next year's Drupa.
