The move is the result of a capacity boost following the installation of a Kodak Flexcel NX digital flexo platemaking system, which the firm bought in April 2010.
Reproflex3 will now expand into a new-build, 1,486sqm production plant that occupies two floors of a neighbouring site.
According to co-founder Andrew Hewitson, last year’s investment in Kodak’s Flexcel NX technology has allowed Reproflex3 to be "a genuine competitor to the gravure and litho process".
"We are recognising significant efficiencies with this process and the print quality from the Flexcel plate is outstanding," he said.
