Misdirected bills 'could undermine' advertising

Over 40% of Britons have received a bill or statement addressed to the wrong person in the last six months, according to a Dsicmm study.

Around 62% of 25- to 34-year-olds have received a misdirected bill or statement, as have about 25% of over-55-year-olds.

Dsicmm chief executive Yolanda Noble said the figures could “seriously undermine consumer attitudes to advertising carried in those documents”.
