Turning Point Technologies supplied Dalim Twist automated workflow, a DuPont Digital Cromalin AQ4 proofer and upgraded the London-based companys SGi Origin servers.
Metro director Chris Jackson said that while the firm used to use an RGB workflow for digital transparencies, it now needed to be able to handle the creative concept digitally up to press delivery, which included supplying CMYK.
"We are nothing like a traditional repro company. We didnt need a sophisticated workflow when we did say 20 images a week, but now we need to syndicate ads and need a lot more capacity," said Jackson.
