Speaking about the order for 22 triple-width Colorman presses, which was signed last November, Finkbeiner said: "Speculation that we will have to put other orders on the back-burner or that we can't accept any new ones is absolutely unfounded.
"We have prepared ourselves professionally for this project and our capacity is designed to cope with orders of this magnitude. All our other orders will be handled as normal, and we will be fighting for every new order like we always do."
Finkbeiner's comments came as MAN Roland revealed further details of the order, which has a value of around 200m (300m).
Twelve of the 22 presses will go to NI's new site in Waltham Cross, with five going to Knowsley in Liverpool, three to NI's plant in Kells, Ireland, and two to a new site in Glasgow.
The two presslines for Glasgow will feature six reel splicers, six printing towers and one folder, enabling them to produce up to 144 full-colour pages.
The other 20 presses will each have five CD 15 reel splicers, five nine-cylinder satellite printing towers, and a newly-developed folder, allowing them to print up to 120pp full-colour.
NI will network the presslines using printnet, the production workflow from MAN Roland subsidiary ppi Media, while AUROload reel supply kit will be used.
