The 60,000 Tiara Tourmaline is the firms first machine specifically designed for the grand-format sector and can print at widths of 3.4m at a speed of 70m2 per hour.
It will be available from April and offer a maximum resolution of 370dpi from 24 Xaar XJ128 print heads.
Lyson marketing manager Simon Guest wouldnt comment on whether the machine was one of the Chinese-made grand-format machines now coming to Europe. He said: As far as we are concerned its a Tiara machine because its modified by us.
The firm will also show off Campaign, a low-cost, grand-format pigment ink and Sublimation, a high-density ink offering stable flow at increased speeds.
