It has installed a processor for Toray waterless plates at Screen's Milton Keynes demonstration centre.
So far the product has attracted interest from a wide range of sectors including packaging and newspaper printers. One regional newspaper printer is said to be close to making the move to waterless. Litho Supplies is also working with KBA on a couple of prospects for its dedicated waterless press the Rapida 74G.
"At the moment it's nibbling, people are interested, and interest is better than we expected," said Barlow.
Litho Supplies picks national waterless chief
Litho Supplies has appointed a national waterless product specialist. Building on its appointment as Torays UK agent, the firm has given Steve Barlow, its eastern press room specialist, responsibility for developing the waterless market.
