Greys Packaging in Bristol, which produced the 47,000 eight-colour metallic wraps, said the magazine would have a cover price of more than double the cost of Maxim in the UK, when measured against the national wage.
"Use of foil wraps is continuing to grow in Europe and we intend to develop our techniques further to remain a forerunner in this market," said managing director Sebastian Lawrence-Mills.
His firm also produces packaging for glossies Arena and Four Four Two.
