KPG adds Rapid as distributor

Kodak Polychrome Graphic (KPG) has linked up with Hampshire-based Rapid Group to expand its UK distribution network.

The deal covers KPG's Matchprint ink-jet colour proofing products including Composer and ProofPro Media. The partnership includes the UK and Ireland and will also cover Kodak branded film products.

Rapid Group also distributes HP, Compaq, Apple, Xerox and Epson equipment. KPG product marketing manager Craig Robertson said: "With Rapid Group's industry experience and its interest and understanding of the benefits our proofing and film solutions can bring to customers, we are delighted to appoint it as one of our UK dealers."

KPG added that the inclusion of Kodak branded film products was not a signal that KPG was to move away from that market.

"KPG is a forward thinking company with innovative products and we're happy to support its proofing and film business," said Rapid Group managing director Garrett Doyle.
