What was the project? The Bromley-based business has vinyl-wrapped the company’s five lorries with a faux peel-back design that help encourage pedestrians to visit its website while showing a preview of kitchen.
How was the job produced? The job took a month to complete and involved Creative FX producing the company’s new designs in-house through its bespoke design service. Printing of the vehicle liveries took place on Creative’s Uniform Grenadier SP-1400C print and cut machine. The high-speed solvent inkjet printer output onto Avery vinyl stock before cutting the designs into shape.
What challenges were overcome? Application of the vinyls took place at a truck workshop in Tonbridge. According to Sean Davis, director at Creative FX, tight deadlines and applying the materials in a confined space presented the only challenges.
"The new vehicles are a vast improvement over their predecessors, which only carried the logo of the company. What is now a striking effect was also cost-effective as only part of the lorry is covered," he added.
What was the feedback? Adrian Stoneham, managing director, said: "We wanted to create consistency across all points of customer contact. As a premium brand with a Royal warrant, smart corporate vehicle livery is essential to our brand image.
