Kallik has expanded its software development team following last months launch of its browser-based Interactive Creative Software (ICE).
The software, aimed at the label and packaging sector, produces a digital print-ready file and, it is claimed, can reduce packaging repro costs by 40%.
Kallik has hired Ian Hoyle, who formerly worked at Software AG, and Lee Witek, who worked for IT services company Keane.
The Tamworth-based firm is the sister company of The Box Room, which was sold by Fulmar two months ago (PrintWeek, 28 September).
Kallik managing director Neil Gleghorn said: "We have become increasingly busy fulfilling the needs of our existing customers and assessing new customers. The additions will allow us to expand rapidly."
