The firm said it hopes to realise the 20% increase in its £2m annual turnover within six months, after doubling plate production following the installation.
Founder and director Kevin Archard said the switch to thermal CTP had reduced costs and increased productivity, thanks to the need for fewer chemicals and a less controlled environment.
He said: “Our previous machine required constant temperature control and a dark room. We used a lot of resources to power our violet system. In using the PlateRite 4300S, we are reducing our energy bills and chemical disposal costs.”
