IPC extends Southbank deal with St Ives

IPC has extended the contract for its Southbank titles with St Ives for a further three years.

"Despite rumours that we might be placing business outside the country it’s stayed in the UK. I considered the continent seriously but am pleased to keep the business here," said IPC manufacturing director Jasper Scott. "It’s about proven quality and service and a very good relationship with St Ives that I hope will develop further."

The 17-title deal encompasses flagship brands like Marie Claire, and is worth around £10m a year. It now also includes Wallpaper* and In Style, which became part of the IPC Southbank portfolio earlier this year. Both titles were previously printed at ET Heron. St Ives Caerphilly prints most of the Southbank titles.

Scott said there would also be "some changes" in pre-press, to be announced.
