Inveresk is to shed 109 jobs in a further restructuring that will see its Kilbagie Mill in Scotland closed down.
Some staff and production will transfer to the paper groups Caldwells Mill, but 74 jobs in total will be lost from both plants.
The group will also cut 35 jobs at its Carrongrove graphic board mill in Denny, Scotland. It aims to overhaul work methods and productivity.
The losses follow news a few weeks ago that 28 jobs would go at St Cuthberts Mill in Somerset, with 30 shed at Westfield near Bathgate. Inveresk will cut its staff numbers by 165, a fifth of its total.
Executive chairman Ken Minton said: These latest changes are vital to secure a sound base and prosperous future.
For the quarter to September the group traded profitably after interest charges but before exceptional costs.
