The appointment was effective as of 19 May. Hajec, who served as interim CEO since April 2024, remains a key member of the Inkcups advisory board.
The direct-to-object kit specialist said Keating is an experienced leader who has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, with deep commercial sales experience, strong technical expertise, and strategic executive leadership.
Keating has held key leadership roles at Roper Industries, Omega Engineering, Oxford Instruments America, and Gooch & Housego.
Over the course of his career, he has been actively involved in all aspects of manufacturing, including sales, service, marketing, engineering, operations, and distribution.
Keating said: “Inkcups has a distinguished track record of pioneering technology, expanding into new markets, and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of its customers.
“I am honoured to lead this exceptional organisation at a time of significant opportunity, and I look forward to building on its strong foundation, driving innovation, and accelerating global growth.”
Hajec added: “It has been an honour to guide Inkcups during this transition. With his vast experience in developing complex solutions that create value for customers, Bill is ideally suited to steer Inkcups as it continues on its path of global growth.”
At Fespa Global Print Expo in Berlin last month, Inkcups rolled out updates across its full lineup of machinery, including an upgrade to its X5-T flatbed printer that allows it to print accurately on irregularly-shaped objects.
