The company was started in Croydon by former Fastnet Finishing employees Paul Forrester and Chris Carden in January this year.

Having progressed well in its first six months, the company needed to expand its binding department to include both bench-top and automatic lines.

Forrester said: "This investment gives us complete flexibility to bind both books and calendars and machine set-up is quick and simple. The automatic calendar hanger insertion is also a real plus point."

The Mobi 500 can be used for a wide range of work, including book binding, skip binding and calendar binding with hangers.
