The plan includes management training courses and regional seminars for industry personnel.
Howard Smith will use a series of regional seminars to provide information on industry trends, innovations and business practices.
Karen Smillie, head of marketing at Howard Smith, said the seminars would be held at various locations, starting at the end of October.
"The aim is to put together the kind of information that our customers, such as printers, want to hear about," said Smillie.
The seminars will include presentations from the BPIF on industry issues, and from leading OEM manufacturers and Howard Smith key personnel.
Service Plus also includes People First, a series of modular two-day training courses developed to help business personnel improve their management skills.
The courses, which will be held at Warwick University, have been designed by Development Matters, and comprise seven modules, including leadership and innovation and improving personal communications.
