The company has installed a Polar 92X, replacing a 21-year-old 92EM, and a stack lift. The spend also included Heidelberg's Image Control closed-loop control system for its presses.
"The Polar is a much faster machine and the level of operation and software is very impressive," said managing director David Haslam.
Image Control for its five-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 72 also links to the Lancashire firm's five-colour Speedmaster 52 for colour consistency and productivity, he added.
