Hammond in sudden departure from Taylor Bloxham

Peter Hammond has left his role as managing director of Print People Group subsidiaries Taylor Bloxham and C&R Printing Services in mysterious circumstances.

Taylor Bloxham announced Hammond's sudden departure from the business this morning but refused to comment on when he left the business or for what reason.

The company simply said: "His departure brings to an end a long and exciting association with Bruce Sharpless and the Sharpless family."

Hammond could not be contacted at the time of writing and Print People Group's newly appointed chief executive Roger Lindop, whose appointment was announced at the same time as Hammond's departure, declined to speak to PrintWeek.

Taylor Bloxham previously announced a £1.5m investment in new pre-press, printing and finishing equipment in September 2008.
