Grafica and France-based Terascreen agree to market Nano series of screen equipment in Europe

Indian manufacturer of semi-automatic and fully automatic screen printing machines and allied equipment, Grafica Flextronica will collaborate with France-based company, Terascreen and a preliminary agreement had been reached for marketing and sale of Grafica's Nano series screen printing machines and allied equipment across European markets.

Terascreen is a new company formed by six share holders, including Michel Caza, the internationally renowned guru of screen printing technology, to distribute and service Grafica’s Nano series and allied equipment.

Caza and another share holder Erwan Guiziou were in India on a three-day visit to Grafica’s factory and their institute DMI to fine tune the deal.

Announcing the deal with Caza and Guiziou on 11 July, Bhargav Mistry, managing director of Grafica, said: "The tie-up with Terascreen is a major breakthrough for our company." He added: "The success of Nano series in India is a compelling case for exploring its use in the European and other markets. And we have been working in this direction, making the Nano series of products compliant for sale in Europe with CE marking."

Grafica’s Nano series machines include: Nano-Print, Nano-Print plus, Nano UV, Nano-Screen Maker 5-in-1, Nano Sharpener and all put together it is also offered as ‘Nano Premier League’ (NPL) and NPL plus packages.

"Grafica’s Nano range of machines are perfectly designed to fit the European market," said Michel after two-day visit of Grafica’s world class manufacturing facility at Vasai, a town on the outskirts of Mumbai.

"Since the successful launching of Grafica’s Nano-Print first model, I was excited about the concept and was looking for an opportune moment to introduce such a fantastic concept to the rest of the world," said Michel.

Grafica has already exported its machines to USA, Russia, Europe, Middle East, Mauritius and African countries. Grafica has recently appointed a dealer in UAE to distribute and service its machines in the Middle East. The company is also all set to explore the US market with negotiation underway with a supplier in the US for distribution of its machinery in the North American market.

"With the formation of dealer networks in India, Middle East, USA and Europe, Grafica is gearing up to play a leading role in the screen printing industry," concluded Mistry.
