Goodhead managing director John Cooling has confirmed that the group is restructuring its web operations to bring them under the control of a single managing director (PrintWeek, 30 March).
Benham & Co managing director Ron England will assume responsibility for both plants.
Cooling was unwilling to discuss the role of Goodhead Print managing director Geoff Hughes in the restructured company.
He said the group would make an announcement about the changes in the next few weeks.
Goodhead Print in Bicester has ordered a Heidelberg M4000 Sunday press, which should be installed later this year. Benham & Co, the groups other web plant in Colchester, will also enter the heatset sector in July when it installs a 64pp MAN Roland Lithoman IV.
