The course has been reinstated in response to firms complaining of a shortage of skilled post-press operators and covers basic theory and practice all the way up to advanced folding. It will also focus on folder safety and troubleshooting.

The firm believes that the subjects covered will offer benefits to all folder operators. "It's appeal isn't just limited to MBO users," said technical manager Bobb Sugg. "With folding being a bit more of an art than a science, the tips that we can pass on are relevant to all."

The three-day course costs 250 per person, per day (based on three attendees per day).
