Fresh Media Group buys Vision

Fresh Media Group (FMG) has bought Vision, the Milton Keynes and London-based catalogue design and repro firm.

FMG, which gets the bulk of revenues from its core magazine division Colour Systems, has been looking to buy catalogue and packaging pre-press firms ever since its formation last July.

"This latest move keeps Fresh Media Group on track along the aggressive growth path set out in our long-term strategy," said FMG chief executive Les Pipe.

Vision's two sites will move to a new purpose-built 450m2 site in Islington over the next six months.

Vision managing director Deborah Hall, who is joining FMG said: "We are pleased to be joining a group with a solutions focused approach to client relationships. Vision clients will now have access to FMG's impressive offering in such a way as to positively impact their businesses."

Vision will offer its existing clients services from other FMG firms including Colour Systems, integrator Applecart and retouching from Size Creative.

Vision specialises in catalogue work, recently winning a contract from the White Company, and also has some publications contracts with Dennis, Illustrated London News and Forward Publishing (PrintWeek, 21 April).

The firm added its London office at the end of 2002 when it bought Graphic Ideas (PrintWeek, 6 December 2002).
