Olive was until recently operations director at Seven Worldwide, and had worked there and at Wace for 20 years. He was made redundant just over a month ago.
Schawk Europe managing director Nigel Parsons said: "This is a human tragedy that transcends all business considerations. He was a man of integrity who truly cared and he will be missed."
Ian Hewson, Olive's former boss in the Wace years, also paid tribute: "He was a business colleague and a best friend and the industry and his family will miss him dearly."
Olive leaves a wife, Karen, and two stepsons.
The reason for Olive's death is unknown and an inquest will be held today (7 April). The funeral will be held at Redditch Crematorium at 10am on 11 April.
