Former Colourworld directors set up new print business

The former directors of failed printer Colourworld Winchester, which traded as Colourworld Print Solutions (CPS), have set up a new print business, Rooster Digital.

CPS closed its doors last month when the Lloyds Banking Group pulled its finance, leaving 43 employees out of work.

It has now emerged that a meeting of creditors will take place on 1 September 2010, at which insolvency practitioner Begbies Traynor is expected to be appointed as liquidator.

However, a website for a new company, Rooster Digital, also based in Winchester, has now appeared that, according to local newspaper reports, is being run by one of the directors of CPS.

Although just a holding page at present, the website offers branding, web development, creative design and print management.

Rooster Digital has two directors, Andrew Tyler-Smith and Christopher Tyler-Smith, both of whom are directors at Colourworld Winchester.

Rooster Digital did not respond to calls.
