The company has launched Folabase Soft U, a synthetic underpacking foil with "outstanding damping properties".
Soft U is a polyester alternative to traditional paper underpacking, and the company claims it is less susceptible to damage.
A spokesman said: "Paper-based underpackings are highly sensitive to squashing and present a swelling risk in the event of moisture ingress.
"Dimensionally stable Folabase underpacking foils made of polyester offer maximum squashing resistance.
"This decreases the amount of downtime and waste that a company will face during packaging printing," he said.
