First Nettl store in Scotland opens

Twenty years after the first Printing.com store opened in Edinburgh – with Peter Gunning, now chief executive of parent group Grafenia, at the helm at the time – the original shop has been replaced by a swish new Nettl Business Store located nearby in a landmark building that was previously an RBS branch.

The new Nettl Business Store opened on 5 November and, like Nettl in Birmingham, will sell coffee and offer meeting rooms alongside website and print services.

The store is owned by director Jonny Arbon, who already runs a Nettl web studio in Glasgow and previously ran the Edinburgh Printing.com. The 232sqm building includes space to expand into what was the bank vault.

“It’s the first Nettl Business Store under partner ownership and the first in Scotland,” Gunning said.

“We used to use this RBS branch when we were clients. It’s a great location and the refurbishment has uncovered many original features and returned it to a more elegant environment.”
