Fire ravages Bradford print site

A fire has gutted a building at Kokoon Print's Bradford site, it has been reported.

Fire crews were called to the site at Low Moor in the early hours of Saturday (8 November) morning and took several hours to tackle the blaze.

In total, six fire engines and two aerial units were used, from Bradford, Odsal, Fairweather Green, Idle and Shipley.

Kokoon Print was unavailable for comment, however Mark Bateman, who owns a sandwich shop on the business estate, told local newspaper the Telegraph and Argus: "It's gutted the unit used by Kokoon and there's some water damage to the next unit from where the fire service have used water to put out the fire."

A police spokeswoman told PrintWeek: "Substantial damage has been reported. We are now working with the fire service and an investigation is still ongoing at this time."
