Financial Times returns lifestyle magazine to UK with St Ives

St Ives Web has won the contract to print the Financial Times lifestyle magazine, How to Spend It.

Printing will now be moved from Eastern Europe to the company's Peterborough site, which also produces The Economist and Time Out magazines.

The saddlestitched fortnightly title has a print run of 450,000 and will be printed using the company's Manroland press.

Tony Ayles, sales director at St Ives Web, said: "Logistically, and from an environmental viewpoint, it was decided that printing How to Spend It magazine in the UK would be far more efficient and cost-effective, saving hundreds of distribution miles."
