New Crane Publishing has awarded F1 Colour the repro contract for Sainsburys Magazine, after the Mitcham-based firm impressed during an assessment period.
The bimonthly magazine, which was launched in 1993 by Delia Smith, has an average net circulation of 321,308 with an estimated readership of 3m.
New Crane Publishing production manager John Burfitt said: "We have been aware of F1 Colour and the services it offers for some time. When the repro contract came up for review we gave F1 Colour, as well as other repro houses, a trial run and were extremely impressed with the results."
He added that the magazine, which has an average of 120 editorial pages per issue, has been able to recover production costs through a cover price of 1, justified by its high quality.
F1 Colour was set up nine years ago by partners Iain Bell and Ken Harrison.
Clients include Marks & Spencer and the Jordan Formula One Team.
