The former Butler and Tanner marketing director will be based in Holland and will spearhead Screen's marketing push in the Middle East and Africa as well as Europe.
Taylor spent 10 years as marketing director at B&T. He said that belonging to a team that had worked on "some of the world's most innovative digital projects" had primed him for new challenges at Screen Europe.
Screen president Brian Forsdike praised Taylor's "wide perspective on the industry", gained from a stint at technology firm Linotype Hell as well as at B&T. "Tim's experience of evolving a print business to provide profitable digital services is a big asset," he said.
