The MiniMill provides a treatment to turn waste into energy and chemicals for use in papermaking. BioRegional has also secured private funding and a DTI grant to complete an industrial scale demonstration mill. An open day will be held in early 2008, when it will be possible to see the technology in action.
Ethical awards winner named
Eco entrepreneur BioRegional MiniMills, which uses straw to make paper, has won invention of the year at the Observer Ethical Awards.
