Although not yet a member of the organisation, the packaging pre-press specialist will be involved in the Packaging Integration Centre at the show. Commercial and publication print will also be included in the Manufacturing Integration Centre.
"Our contribution will focus on CAD and graphics integration, automation of design and pre-production, overall asset and project management and broad integration through JDF," said Esko-Graphics senior vice president for marketing Ren Delbar.
Esko and Fuji, which will be supplying offset plates and CTP for MAN Roland, have filled the pre-press slot left following Agfa's decision to pull out of PrintCity.
"It's natural for project partners to become members," said PrintCity president John Dangelmaier. He added that Bobst, which is now one of the four firms with a shareholding in the organisation, alongside Sun Chemical, MAN Roland and UPM, was a project partner at Drupa.
PrintCity's other activities at the show will include the publication of the second edition of its Sheetfed UV Best Practice Guide.
The organisation will take nearly 5,000sqm in Hall 1.
