The range of wide-format kit includes a 2.2m-wide combination flatbed and roll-to-roll UV cured ink-jet printer. There will be demonstrations of the DCC line at the exhibition, which runs from 31 May to 4 June in Munich.
But DuPont has not set a date for when the DCC products will be available. According to DuPont Color Communications global marketing manager Gaetan Raevens, it is likely to be at the end of the year "following a successful customer evaluation programme".
"These new systems are designed for a variety of applications, including wide-format, point of purchase, displays, signs and banners, as well as short-run and prototype packaging," said Raevens.
A spokesman for the company added that the equipment was being tested in the UK but would not comment on who the customers were. The DCC line was shown at exhibitions last year in France, Italy and Spain.
He added that DuPont had booked exhibition space at last month's Sign UK Digital Expo, but pulled out because "equipment did not arrive on time".
